250 grams of soft butter

1 tablespoon of oil

1 cup icing sugar

1/2 cup maizena/ cornflour 

1/2 cup custard powder

2 teaspoons of vanilla essence 

1 & 3/4 cups flour


In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, cream butter, icing sugar and oil together for about 5 minutes.

Add the maizena, vanilla essence and custard powder and beat further for one minute.

Next, add the flour and mix until just combined. Spoon mixture into a piping bag with a 898 nozzle.

Pipe onto a biscuit pan that is greased or lined with baking paper … into rectangle shapes.

Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 10 minutes only . Remove and cool the biscuits.

Dip biscuits halfway or a quarter way into melted chocolate. And its that easy .

If you don’t have this nozzle, you can use a star nozzle as well.
